And definitely NOT YOURS!
Iβve previously shared how various namesakes π around the world believe my Gmail account is really theirsβeven though they can never actually read any email π§ that arrives at that address.
I don’t really understand why this keeps happening, but it never seems to stop π. Clearly, Iβm the cleverest namesake of them all π§ π‘βhaving created this Gmail account back in 2003, secured with a strong password π and multi-factor authentication β .
No matter what, my account remains firmly under my control π‘οΈ, standing strong against all these mistaken identities.

It looks like Iβve applied for a job at a Tesco store in Plymouth π¬π§, where the pay is around Β£12/hourβnot too shabby! π·
I have set a strong 128-character password having reset it via email. ππ
Tescoβs system respects strong security practices (for passwords) but don’t verify the email address in the user signupβmeaningmy email is being (ab)used by someone else. πβοΈπ

At least Microsoft keeps it professional β . On the very same day, someone tried to create a Microsoft account using my email address π. But hereβs the important part: Microsoft requires (not)me to verify my email before the account can be created. Yay, Microsoft! π
Without the verification code (I actually received two) thereβs no way anyone can complete the new account setup. No bypassing allowed! π«π

This kind of proactive verification adds a much-needed layer of security and peace of mind. π
